A note from the founder

I built Divemates because I was tired of planning dives the hard way. I wanted one place with real data, real stats, and the encounters people actually had, so I could know what has been sighted lately, and where, before I ever booked a trip.

I wanted to search by the animal I was dreaming about and be told where, and when, to go find it. None of that existed, so we made it. If you have ever felt that same itch to get back in the water, this one is for you. Never dive alone.
