Pomegranate Aeolid

A tiny aeolid no longer than a fingernail tip, the pomegranate aeolid lives on red Corymorpha hydroids and feeds on a wine red hydroid. Like other aeolids it stores the stinging cells of its prey in the slender cerata along its back, recycling them for its own defence.
