Sea Grape

Molgula citrina

Sea Grape

A small solitary sea squirt that often dangles like a green grape, this species attaches to hard surfaces in shallow water and tolerates the brackish edges of estuaries. Reaching under two centimetres, it draws water through its body to filter out food, usually in the shallows but sometimes deeper than 200 metres.
