Rugose Squat Lobster

A slim orange squat lobster with long nipping claws, the rugose squat lobster tucks itself among sand, mud and rocky ledges across the continental shelf and slope. Like its relatives it eats almost anything, scavenging detritus, grazing and taking small prey between about 30 and 300 metres.
