Big White Heart Urchin

This heart shaped urchin lives buried in or resting on rocky, sandy, and rubble bottoms from the shallows down to about 240 metres. Its pale, almost white test is shaped like a flattened heart, and like other heart urchins it shovels through sediment to feed on the organic scraps it finds there.
