Sessile Hydrozoan
Amphisbetia distans
- Group: Other
A delicate branching hydroid that grows in feathery tufts on seagrass blades in shallow tropical beds. Each colony is a shared structure of tiny polyps, and like its kin it releases free swimming medusae to spread its young through the water.
