Pink Ghost Shrimp

A pink ghost shrimp that digs deep burrows in sandy bottoms of sheltered bays and estuaries, from the shoreline down to about half a metre. It often lives in dense colonies, reaching around seven centimetres, with each animal tending its own tunnel system.
