Bright blue from snout to tail, this little damselfish hangs above deep outer reefs in loose feeding swarms, plucking copepods and other tiny plankton from the current. When a threat appears the whole group drops into coral crevices in an instant, and breeding pairs leave their eggs stuck to the rock, where the male fans fresh water over them.
