The herrmanni curryfish is a large sea cucumber that grazes lagoon floors and coral bottoms down to about thirty metres, swallowing sand to digest the organic matter within. Growing to around fifty five centimetres, it hides in crevices and overhangs and is now listed as Vulnerable.
