Delicate Dragonet

A tiny dragonet of sandy and muddy lagoon floors, this fish rests flush against the bottom where its mottled skin blends in. It lives in shallow reef sheltered water from about one to 28 metres and grows to only seven centimetres. Like other dragonets, males display with a tall first dorsal fin.
