A tiny pufferfish of clear lagoon and seaward reefs, the honeycomb toby tucks into holes in living and dead coral, alone or in pairs. It feeds on sponges, polychaete worms and filamentous algae, with the odd tunicate or crustacean, and grows to just 9 centimetres.
