South Georgia Spiny Plunderfish

A small Antarctic plunderfish that lies motionless on the bottom for long stretches, ambushing the amphipods that make up most of its diet, along with isopods and worms. It lives mainly in the shallows around South Georgia but has been found as deep as 90 metres.
