Yellowfin Sole

A flatfish of the cold North Pacific, the yellowfin sole settles on soft bottoms from the shoreline down to roughly 700 metres and grazes on hydroids, worms, mollusks and brittle stars. Both eyes sit on one side of its body, and it is netted in huge numbers and sold frozen.
