Cephalorhynchus heavisidii

Heaviside's Dolphin

Heaviside's dolphin lives only off the cool southwest coast of Africa, riding the Benguela current in shallow inshore water. It is small and stocky, under two metres, and feeds on a range of fish and squid. Hunting and net entanglement leave it rated as near threatened.
