Chinese Silver Pomfret

A deep, almost circular pomfret of muddy coastal bottoms, it appears seasonally alone or in small schools and sometimes runs into estuaries. It feeds on soft drifting plankton such as jellies, comb jellies and salps, taking the occasional small bottom animal as well.
