Spotted Numbfish

This ray glides over soft bottoms across continental shelves, both inshore and offshore, and grows to about 38 centimetres. Twin electric organs flank its head, used to stun the bottom living prey it feeds on. Females carry two or three pups at a time, each born around six centimetres long.
