Sand Weakfish

The sand weakfish patrols shallow sandy coastal bottoms and is most abundant in the surf zone. Through summer it moves into river estuaries to feed and use them as nursery grounds. Like other weakfishes it is a soft mouthed predator that can reach over half a metre.
