A tiny dragonet of coastal bays and estuaries, the goram dragonet spends much of its time buried in sand, mud or dead coral rubble on lagoons and outer reef slopes. It picks at small benthic invertebrates and reaches barely 10 centimetres. You might find one alone or in a small group.
