Sleeper Goby

A sleeper of West African brackish waters, this goby lives in estuaries, creeks, lagoons and mangroves and sometimes pushes into freshwater, shrugging off wide swings in salinity. It grows to about 12 centimetres and turns up from Senegal down to Namibia. People stock it to eat mosquito larvae.
