Dunker's Pipehorse

Solegnathus dunckeri

Dunker's Pipehorse

A pipehorse of the continental shelf and slope, this fish bridges the look of a pipefish and a seahorse with its long, partly curled body. The male carries the brood beneath his tail, and so little is known about its numbers that it is listed as data deficient.
