A barely one centimetre dwarfgoby that hides benthic in coral, crevices and under ledges down to about 25 metres. In the spur and groove habitat of Hawaiian reefs it feeds on harpacticoid copepods, tanaids, amphipods and a wide range of other tiny invertebrates.
