One of the smaller dwarfgobies, the females ripe with eggs at barely a centimetre, this deepwater fish keeps to ledges and spur and groove habitat between about 9 and 29 metres. It shares the grooves with the divine dwarfgoby but only below about 12 metres, never in shallower water.
