The reticulated fangblenny carries venom glands in its lower jaw fangs, a defence shared across this group of sabretooth blennies, and lives on coral reefs and sheltered lagoons between about five and 15 metres. It glues its eggs to the bottom and the larvae drift in shallow water. It reaches roughly six centimetres, and so little is recorded that its status stays undetermined.
