Yellowtail Trumpeter

A grunter of inshore and mangrove waters, the yellowtail trumpeter moves freely between the coast, estuaries and the fresh water stretches of rivers. It grows to about thirty centimetres, and while juveniles graze algae and small crustaceans, older fish switch to hunting bristle worms.
