A tiny anglerfish that walks on armlike fins, it was collected over sandy mud, sponge and seagrass at shallow depths between about 2 and 9 metres. Like its relatives it dangles a built in lure to draw prey within reach of its huge mouth, and it stays small at around 5 centimetres.
