Ornate Tube Worm

This worm builds a tough parchment tube, ringed with bits of shell and rubble, standing in sand and gravel near rocks on subtidal bottoms down to about ninety metres. The exposed tube can be a couple of centimetres across, while the animal itself stays hidden below, reaching out to grab food.
