The Atlantic pygmy octopus is a small night hunter of coral reefs, rubble and sandy bottoms, from the shoreline down to around 100 metres. Despite spanning barely fifteen centimetres it squeezes into empty clam shells for shelter, and the IUCN lists it as Least Concern.
