Yellow-Lipped Sea Krait

This banded sea snake hunts eels in shallow reef water, then hauls itself onto rocks to rest, digest, and shed its skin. Its venom is extremely potent, yet it is mild mannered and rarely bites people, and it grows to about a metre and a half with the broad yellow upper lip that gives it its name.
