Pretty Pheasant Shell

A tiny jewel of a snail barely a centimetre across, the pretty pheasant shell lives on algae, coral, rubble and seagrass across reefs, mangroves and shallow flats down to about a hundred and thirty seven metres. Its glossy shell is patterned in fine colour, and it grazes the surfaces it crawls over.
