Warty Sea Slug

By day it tucks itself into crevices and under rocks high in the splash zone, an air breathing sea slug that tolerates the open shore. When the tide drops at night it creeps out to rasp films of algae off the rock, its skin roughened with the warty bumps that give it its name.
