Gibbose Conch

Gibberulus gibbosus

Gibbose Conch

A small humped conch reaching about five centimetres, it is abundant across shallow coral reef sand and seagrass beds. Rather than crawling smoothly it hops, planting a bladed foot and vaulting forward, the trademark move of the true conchs.
