Corals

Isopora brueggemanni

Corals

A reef building coral of bright, exposed shallows, it favours upper reef slopes and sand flats down to about 15 metres. Heavy reef loss has pushed it onto the endangered list, even though it thrives where wave action keeps the water clear.
