Leopard Chromodoris

Goniobranchus leopardus

Leopard Chromodoris

A spotted sea slug of sheltered reef, the leopard chromodoris glides over the bottom at moderate depth on a pale body dappled with dark rings. Like other chromodorids it grazes on sponges and stores their chemical defences to make itself distasteful, and it is harmless to divers.
